The Past 9 Years

The past 9 years have been monumental in my life. 9 years ago today I married the love of my life. We were married in the Mesa, Arizona Temple and had the best party after at my parents Reception Center!

We have experienced great things. The first being the birth of our children. Cole is now 7, Kiley is 5 and Wyatt is 2 going on 10! We bought our first real home a year ago and are serving in our ward. I am Primary chorister and Andrew in the Sunday School presidency.

We are happier than ever and I cannot imagine my life without my best friend by my side. He is my everything. I love you Andrew! Happy Anniversary!

Talking to MY 2 year old.

So, yesterday I was putting some pudding cups into the refrigerator so that when the kids got home from school they would be cold. I tried to do this sneakily so Wyatt wouldn't see but you know how that goes... So he proceeds to ask me if he can have pudding and I said no, lets wait till after your nap so they will be cold.
Wyatt: I yant it now.
Me: No, bed first. So he goes to bed. He woke up early and ran into my room and says "Lets EAT!"
Me: Lets get Cole and Kiley first.
Wyatt: NO! Cole will get some puddin too!
Me: Of course he will we love to share.
Wyatt: Thats no fair!
Me: Yes it is.
Wyatt: Forgit it! I'll eat when he at school in morning!
I laughed so hard. This is the true conversation. I spelled everything the way he said it. What can I say he is a BIG boy!

Love is in the Air!

So...as we begin February I reflect on all that is GREAT in my life. Number one is my family. What would I do without them? I am so blessed to have an AWESOME husband. Andrew thank you for always supporting me in anything I do. You make my life a little easier. Cole is such a sweety. Everytime I am feeling a little off I can always count on him to take care of me. He is the best big brother ever. Kiley, what can I say...her smile lights up a room, even without her teeth :) She is always drawing a picture for someone to try to make them happier. She is ALWAYS singing. I love that she loves what I love...MUSIC. And then there is Wyatt. He is my partner in crime. He is always throwing a ball. Whether it is to me or at my head. He is amazing and he makes everyone fall in love with him. What can I say...I am blessed.

This month Andrew and I will have been married for 9 years. It has been wonderful and if he plays his cards right, it will last another 60! I love him so much and am lucky enough to have him in my life. I guess you can say I am a sucker for love.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Is It Really Over?

The Holidays have come and gone and we had the greatest time as a family! Andrew took off work from Christmas Eve to Jan. 5th so we have PLAYED our little hearts out. On Christmas Eve we went to the Temple to hear Jordan Bluth sing. It was wonderful. After that we went home and Andrew got our Little People nativity out and told the story from Luke 2 while the kids each played a part. It was really eye opening for the kids to see it played out this way. We all went to bed and when the kids got up in the morning I thought they were going to faint. We got them bikes this year and Kiley was NOT expecting a bike. Wyatt was so mad because he thought that Kiley's big girl bike was for him and he was very angry to let it go. :) I will post pics later.

The day after Christmas we went to Safford to see Andrew's sister Dawn and her family. It was so much fun. We drove up Mt. Graham and played in some very COLD snow. Wyatt and I don't really like to be that cold. We found that out the hard way. ;) Kiley got to make snow angels for the first time and loved every minute of it. We had a really great time.

On New Years Eve we were invited to the Allen's in our ward for a party. We were pretty excited because we haven't made many friends in our ward and I am desperate for any kind of friendship. It was the MOST fun we have had in a long, long time. It was so much fun to get to know new people and we each told the story of how we as married couples met and then it just kept coming. Cole got to have his very first sleep over with Skyler and thought he was so big! We let Kiley have a sleepover on our bedroom floor so she could feel special. I am really glad that we went inspight of the fact that we were all so sick! Andrew had Strep throat and I was getting it. (We were both on antibiotics) Wyatt had a sinus infection (also on antibiotics). Cole and Kiley just had colds. Now we have some really good friends and they just happen to have kids our kids ages so it works out so perfectly. Life at the Knudsens is good. I hope all is well with you and yours.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Yea! I love this time of year. I love that it is starting to get colder and that the world looks fresh and new. Christmas is almost upon us and I am finally ready for it. I can now sit back, relax and enjoy the season. I love the music, the friends and the kids.

Yesterday Wyatt was mad at me for making him leave "His Grandpa" so he told me he was going to call Santa so I wouldn't get any presents. When I pretended to be sad about it he said "sorry, but that's the rules!" It was pretty funny. He then demanded that I take him to santa's house so he could tell. It is good to have the power. He was very annoyed with me but was distracted by a bird. I love two year olds. We have a lot of fun together.

I hope you are all having a good holiday season.

Holy Cuteness!

So, Wyatt is always saying something cute and so I have decided to let you in on some of them.

We were driving down the road and Wyatt asked me for a treat. I said "you'll have to wait a minute." He looked at me totally seriously and said "No, I don't think I will." I laughed so hard. Luckily he didn't throw the fit that I thought he would.

On Tuesday we were coming home from the gym and Andrew and I were trying to talk to each other when Kiley started to butt in. Andrew said "Kiley mom and I are talking you'll have to wait." All of a sudden Wyatt said "I talka mom first" Andrew said "No, I was first." and then the inevitable back and forth with a two year old. Finally, Wyatt said "Mom!" I said "what" and then he said "SEE!" It was so funny. Andrew and I couldn't dispute it. It was just so cute. I love watching his little mind work.

Basketball Madness!

The last 3 days have been very fun watching my nephews Spencer and Dallin play in a basketball tournament. Dallin, being a Freshman, didn't get much play time but it was so fun wathching them work as a team. It is fun to see my VERY tall nephews out on the court. I have seen Spencer play football but basketball was really fun to watch. Wyatt went with me to all the games when the kids were in school and one of the referee's let Wyatt hold the game ball when there was a time out. He was in HEAVEN to be so important. He threw the ball back to the ref when he blew the whistle and then stood there so proud like he won the game. I have to say I was a proud mama. My two year old in the middle of the stands got the ball back to the ref without any help. It did bounce once but it was an awesome bounce pass. He meant to do that :) Good job Spencer and Dallin. Thanks for letting me come.
