It seems that Kiley is constantly getting in trouble so I thought I would take her out on Saturday and have some girl time to try to figure out what the problem is. She is such a sweet good girl. I told her I was trying to figure out what happens in her head and she said "oh don't go there mom, it is scary" LOL. She said she gets in trouble for doing what the boys do. That is when I told her that I expect more from her than I do from Wyatt and Chase because she KNOWS better. They are still learning. It was like a lightbulb moment for her. :) She sat and thought about it for a minute and then said "you are right mom! I have to be a good example so they can learn what is right to do!" I love this sweet little girl that is my little buddy. We had a great afternoon shopping and having lunch. And not a single bit of laundry or mopping was done but hey, there is always Monday right? :)

I WIN AGAIN!
Today I was sitting in front of my computer not paying attention and all of a sudden I looked at the screen and on facebook Mix 969 put a link to answer a question about American Idol and I called in and WON!!! I won an HTC Vivid 4G phone from AT&T and a $50 AT&T gift card!! Seriously! It is a $549 phone! I cannot believe it! I probably will have to sell it because I probably can't afford to pay for the service but so COOL!!! I guess all those years of watching American Idol finally paid off ;)

Who?
I have been doing a lot of reflecting lately. I was thinking about who I was in high school. Who I was at Eastern Arizona College. Who I was at Chandler Gilber CC. Who I am now. The thing I figured out is I have no idea who to be. I used to think that I was funny and loud and had lots of friends. But, did I?? Were they laughing WITH me or AT me? I don't know. I am not the loud crazy girl anymore. I am so much more reserved and calm. I have changed. But I have lost myself. I am embarassed of how silly I once was but I am embarassed of being afraid to branch out and do things. I have gone through the hardest year or so of my life. I am stronger Spiritually and renewed but I am afraid to trust people. I am afraid to get close to people. They have the ability to hurt me. Why can't I just figure me out? The one thing I know for SURE is that I am a daughter of God and he is aware of me and my struggles. He is CONSTANTLY with me and I feel his love daily. But the 5 year old inside me just wants to be liked. I am rambling and probably don't make sense. Oh well.

Wow
"There is no guarantee that life will be easy for anyone. We grow and learn more rapidly by facing and overcoming challenges. You are here to prove yourself, to develop, and to overcome. There will be constant challenges that cause you to think, to make proper judgments, and to act righteously. You will grow from them. However, there are some challenges you never need to encounter. They are those associated with serious transgression. As you continue to avoid such tragedy, your life will be simpler and happier. You will see others around you who don’t make that choice, who do things that are wrong and evil and bring sadness. Thank your Father in Heaven that your pattern of life is different and that you have been helped to make choices guided by the Holy Ghost. That prompting will keep you on the right path."
--Richard G. Scott, "To Live Well"
I am so thankful for the power of the Atonement and that we are able to be made clean and whole again. What an incredible gift. One that should not ever be taken lightly. What an awesome responsibility it is to Choose the Right. I am thankful for the teachings we have every single week to remind us to act according to the Lords will. If we will LISTEN with our hearts we will not be lead astray.

Spider Monkey
On Thursday I went to the kids school and was the parent helper for Wyatt's class. He LOVES having me come help and I truly love his class. They crack me up. While walking around with the kids while they did each obstacle course or challenge I noticed something. The parents that helped at each station would try to baby Wyatt. He is by far the smallest in his class and other parents don't know his mad skills. :) He showed them! One of the challenges was to climb a rock wall then go across the rock wall climbing through a hula hoop and over a bar. Sounds difficult huh? I watched a few kids go and the helpers had to assist all the kids especially through the hula hoop. When it was Wyatt's turn I told the ladies to stand back. He turned and said "yeah lady! I got this!" She laughed and backed up one step. Then Wyatt climbed up the wall and the only help he got was positioning his foot as he went through the hoop. He truly did it by himself. When he got down he looked at the lady who was astonished and said "Mom! Why didn't you tell her I am a spider monkey?" LOL seriously I have the coolest kids ever!
